Cosy up under a more natural cover! Although you'll feel delightfully snug under the soft cotton, rest assured that this is a robust article and, of course, entirely fit for the washing machine. (Suggested wash maximum 40°C – but why not try 30°C?) Avoid harsh detergents and bleach! The patterns are applied to the white fabric by use of small printing blocks carved from wood. This blockprinting process is done by hand, one block at a time, so your duvet will have real character and life. For each duvet cover, eleven different blocks are needed to build up this design (see picture BELOW). The motifs are historic – faithfully copied from patterns found on tiles in an ancient mosque. Those designs have already stood the test of time so you'll know your duvet cover will date no more as more time goes by. So which of the three colours is the one for you? Brown, red or green they are all good choices.
