Bright white blockprinting on slightly less white cotton offers a chic look that is sophisticated, discreet and subtle. Or choose grey blockprinting so the design is more obvious. Both cosy white cotton for a healthy night under the duvet. Tie closings on short edge. The cotton fabric is prewashed to make it fabulously soft and comfortable. Real pure cotton is notoriously breathable; quite different from polyesters. It washes well (suggested maximum 30°C). Try to hang flat to dry so you don't need to worry about ironing. Blockprinted and hand-made in a social enterprise based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a city historically noted as an epicentre of fine craft. Hand carved wooden blocks are inked and impacted onto the fabric, one block at a time by a skilled craftsperson, to build the overall pattern. The opposite of mass-production: this is authentic craft blockprinting.
