Go for our deep blue (with border of blue and black) .... or choose lush burgundy.     Ikat fabric «Saree» 300x230cm £53 «Saree» in this size only in blue: 09776 Ikat fabric «Saree» 230x230cm £40 Blue: 09786   Burgundy: 09785 Ikat fabric «Saree» 230x150cm £27 Blue: 09796   Burgundy: 09795 «Saree» presents itself as a robust masculine design in a limited colour palette, yet this design is copied exactly from the most feminine Indian saree.     For this hearty fabric, our ikat makers have cleverly adapted a pattern that was originally popular in ultra fine saree cloth.     Technically, it can be difficult to make such conversions from fine to much less fine, but they've done it just so you can enjoy this classic ikat as part of your home decor.     Blue colour comes in 3 sizes, including huge 3M x 2.3M (big enough for most 3-seater sofas).     Blue and burgundy are also made to 2.3x2.3M and 2.3x1.5M.     To use as a throw, be sure to get a big enough piece of fabric because throws tend to pull into the centre of the sofa or chair when you sit down. If your sofa has tall arms, you'll need a wide throw to cover the arms. Generally, our middle size makes a fine throw for 2-seater sofas – or for a double bedspread.     100% cotton. Here's ikat «Saree» design as curtains. ······································· This is very easy to do – all you need is the fabric (we suggest a pair of small or middle size pieces), plus our easy curtain clips.     Fit the clips along the short edge of the fabric, then hook over the rings that you already have on your curtain rail or pole. Instant curtains! No sewing or making up necessary. Curtain clips     If the fabric is too long, simply fold it to the correct length then place your clips along the folded edge. You can choose whether to let the extra folded down fabric hang visible into the room – or let that face towards the window.     So that the curtains hang looking full, the amount of fabric that you need for each side of the window should be at least the same width as the width of the whole window – preferably a little more. 100% cotton (handloom ikat) Neatly hemmed along all edges. Machine wash; max 40°C. Avoid harsh detergents. We suggest «Ecoballs» laundry system (click here for details). Better for the fabric; better for the environment. Protect from bright sunlight. Take care that excess dyes do not transfer onto light colour fabric. Please note that the hand dyeing of these fabrics sometimes results in slight variations of colour tones.
